(9th grade)
Social Freshman is…
our new 9th grade etiquette program! As a Westminster and Emory alumna, I know personally how important it is to start out high school with the knowledge that sets your student apart and up for success.
We have received so many requests and we are thrilled to share this expertise with your students during a critical point in their academic careers. Students that complete Social Freshman satisfactorily will receive a Social Freshman Etiquette Certificate of Completion to add to their college admissions resume. Time to start building those college application profiles!
In Social Freshman your student will learn age-appropriate manners for entering high school including:
school manners in the classroom, sports & after-school activities
social functions & dances
technology netiquette & safety
dating & friendships
the Art of Conversation
resolving conflict with manners
formal introductions
dress for success
first jobs
new driver manners
table manners crash course and more!
Social Freshman is a completely new and unique curriculum from our other programs, Social Cotillion (7th grade) and Social Prep (5th grade). Social Freshman builds on lessons learned in our longstanding 7th grade Social Cotillion program taught in the Atlanta community for 40 years,. However, Social Cotillion 7th grade program is not a prerequisite for Social Freshman.
