What programs do you offer?
Social specializes in etiquette, cotillion, and events.
We currently offer 4 different programs:
Social Prep/5th grade
Social Cotillion/7th grade
8th Grade Social Dance: The Figgy Ball.
Social Debutante/10th grade.
Stay tuned for future programs coming soon!
We also offer corporate etiquette, speaking engagements and events upon request.
Are all the programs different?
Yes! Each program is completely unique and age-specific in both content coverage and style of event. Participating in one program does not replace another.
Can I change class times?
Class time changes are available once per student on a first-come-first-serve basis and are not guaranteed. Please email to join the class time change waitlist. In the event a class time change is unavailable, we cannot provide a refund per our T&C policy.
Why can’t my student wear sneaker to Social Prep/5th grade or Social Cotillion/7th grade?
The tread of sneakers is made to stick to flooring. Therefore, sneakers are unsafe to wear while dancing.
Will boys have to ask girls to dance in Social Prep/5th grade or Social Cotillion/7th grade?
No. Social Prep classes includes group dancing and no partner dancing. Social Cotillion classes are structured so that boy/girl dance partner pairs are assigned and frequently rotated.
What do students wear to class for Social Prep/5th grade or Social Cotillion/7th grade?
Please refer to your student’s class page for specific dress code instructions.
Do family members attend the final event?
No, only registered students attend the final event. Our capstone program, Social Debutante The Dogwood Ball provides an opportunity to include family.
Does The Figgy Ball include classes?
No classes for The Figgy Ball – this is a one night event.
Do students bring a date to The Figgy Ball?
No dates at The Figgy Ball.
