Social Prep Class Winter 2025 for 5th Graders Enrolled at Morris Brandon

$450.00
Not Open

Class is 1 hour and 15 minutes per week each Tuesday after-school for 4 weeks on January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. The 5th week will culminate in a special Final Social Prep event on Sunday February 2nd (details to be released privately to registered students).

The total cost of the Social Prep program includes weekly etiquette and dance instruction, class materials, and the final event at a beautiful venue with food/beverage.

Social Prep classes will focus on good manners for children to include: table manners, table settings, writing thank you notes, techno-manners, speaking politely on cell phones, introductions, participating in parties, group social dance and more! We emphasize learning that builds self-confidence in future social situations.

Dress code for all classes: coat, tie, and dress shoes for boys. Dresses/skirts and shoes with backs for girls. We are very active in class and ask that the girls wear shorts under their dresses/skirts. No backless shoes or sneakers please.

Social Prep is created 5th grade students as distinct and precursory to our longstanding 7th grade program. Social Prep is an elevated, well-structured, supervised class which encompasses traditional as well as modern etiquette utilizing the well established standards of Emily Post emphasizing that “Consideration for the rights and feelings of others is not merely a rule for behavior in public but the very foundation upon which social life is built.” - Emily Post, Etiquette 1st edition.

Registration is not intended for the purpose of “holding a spot” but only for the intent of taking the class; therefore, all sales are final and refunds will not be given.
